As someone who has a fair bit of anxiety going to the dentist and a fairly strong gag reflex (when I was younger, I couldn't even brush my molars without gagging), I've had my fair share of negative experiences with dentists in the past - but not here.

From the front desk to dental chair, from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist to the treatment coordinator, my experience was positive throughout. At no point did I ever feel like the staff was just trying to do the bare minimum or just trying to get as much money out of me as possible. I was always given clear options and advice regarding my teeth, without any pressure to spend money, and the staff made sure to take my financial situation into account and help as much as possible.

Although I had positive experiences with all the staff I interacted with, I'd like to take a moment to mention Dr. Ralph (Dr. Raphael Samaniego), who did my root canal. I took a moment to skim a couple other reviews and found that there was someone who had a very different experience, so I thought I'd share mine.

Dr. Ralph was both professional and kind throughout the entire process of my root canal. He patiently answered all of my questions in a way that was easy to understand and regularly checked to see how I was doing during the procedure. I was given the option to monitor some teeth that he was concerned about and never felt pressured to do a filling. Furthermore, photos and x-rays were always immediately sent upon request.

In summary, as many others, I highly recommend this office. Whether it was dealing with dental anxiety, a strong gag reflex or a difficult financial situation, the staff here all did their best to assist. I never felt pressured, and all appointments were done professionally, while also making sure I was comfortable. Although I can't speak for anyone else's experience, my own experience with Dr. Ralph was very positive, and I hope anyone looking for a dentist will likewise give him a chance and have a similarly positive experience.
